Hammer & Nail is a family-owned company rooted right here in Lincoln, founded by Danny Elias, whose love for craftsmanship began in childhood.  Surrounded by craftsmen and engineers from an early age, he learned the value of precision, patience, and doing things the right way.

After earning a business degree and working in the family manufacturing business, Danny found himself drawn back to hands-on craftsmanship. What started as building cigar box guitars and furniture in his spare time eventually evolved into Hammer & Nail, a company founded on skill, integrity, and old-fashioned service.

While working with a builder to build their first home for their young family, Danny and his wife Kacey saw firsthand how often homeowners felt left in the dark during home projects—uncertain about schedules, next steps, or even who was showing up. The work might have been fine, but the experience rarely was.

That gap is a big part of why we opened our doors. At Hammer & Nail, communication is treated with the same respect as craftsmanship. Clear expectations, timely updates, and honest conversations create the kind of smooth, stress-free experience we’d want for our own families.

    Start by filling out our quick request form (the easiest way—you can even upload photos!) or giving us a call at (402) 413-6371.

  2. Share Photos
    Photos help us understand your project. If you already uploaded photos in the request form—perfect, you’re all set! If not, you can text them to (402) 413-6371, or email them—just be sure to include your name so we can match them to your project.

  3. Receive an Estimate
    Once we have all the details, we’ll give you a call to chat about your project, answer questions, and provide a ballpark estimate. If you decide to move forward, you’ll receive a written quote.

  4. Schedule Your Project
    When you’re ready, we’ll get your project on the calendar.

  5. Enjoy Your Home
    We show up on time, treat your home with care, and complete your project to the highest standard—backed by our 3-year workmanship warranty.
