Built-In Shelving in Heritage Lakes
Hammer & Nail recently built and installed custom oak built-in shelving in multiple rooms for a client in Lincoln’s Heritage Lakes neighborhood. The home already had beautiful architectural character, and our role was to add tailored storage that felt cohesive with the existing interior style.
Each room received its own built-ins—designed to fit the space, support daily use, and look like they’ve always belonged there. From living areas to bedrooms, the shelving added structure, visual balance, and intentional places for books, décor, and everyday items.
The finished result brings warmth and function to the home, with clean lines and timeless profiles that complement the surrounding trimwork. Throughout the installation, we focused on precise alignment, proportion, and a seamless fit, so the built-ins feel integrated rather than added on.

Soon after my initial call, Danny came to our house and we explained what we wanted and Danny discussed alternatives with us.
