Shiplap Accent Wall & Barn Doors in Porter Ridge
This event space in Lincoln was designed to feel welcoming, flexible, and visually memorable—and our role was to help create a focal point that could do all three. Hammer & Nail installed a shiplap accent wall with horizontal trim, adding texture and architectural interest without overwhelming the room.
To complete the look, we added two faux barn doors to balance the space. While decorative in function, they add warmth, symmetry, and a touch of character that works beautifully in an event setting—photogenic, polished, and intentionally designed.
The horizontal trim detail ties everything together, giving the wall structure and rhythm while allowing the shiplap to shine. The finished installation feels tailored and versatile, offering a strong backdrop for gatherings, photos, and celebrations of all kinds.
This Porter Ridge project is a great example of how a custom accent wall and architectural details can transform a space.
